Objective: To investigate the correlation between ABO blood type and patients with uterine fibroids and uterine adenomyoma. Methods: The clinical data of 294 patients with uterine fibroids and 151 patients with uterine adenomyoma diagnosed in Ulanqab Central Hospital and its branches from January 2019 to November 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. At the same time, 6 484 healthy female donors were selected as the control group. The blood group distribution of the three groups was analyzed and compared by case-control association study. Results: In the uterine leiomyoma group, the order of blood type phenotype frequencies was B(33.7%)>O(31.0%)>A(23.8%)>AB(11.6%), and the order of gene frequencies was r>q>p. In the adenomyosis group, the order of blood type phenotype frequencies was O (37.1%)>B(31.1%)>A(25.2%)>AB(5.6%), and the order of gene frequencies was r>q>p. There were no statistically significant differences in blood type and gene frequency among the uterine leiomyoma group, the adenomyoma group, and the healthy control group (blood type of uterine fibroids group: P=0.590, blood type of uterine adenomyoma group:P=0.377, gene frequency of uterine leiomyoma group: P=0.675, gene frequency of uterine adenomyoma group: P=0.073). Conclusion: There is no significant correlation between the occurrence of uterine leiomyoma or adenomyosis and ABO blood type.
