Objective: To explore the effect of health education combined with life guidance on quality of life and psychological status of patients with hypertension.Methods: 180 cases of inpatients with hypertension were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 90 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing, while the observation group was given health education combined with life guidance on the basis of the control group. The changes of quality of life and psychological status of patients before and after the treatment were evaluated by clinical examination and questionnaire survey.Results: After the intervention, the life quality scores in the physiological field, psychological field, social relation field and environmental area in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (t physiological field =6.135,P=0.00;t psychological field=5.163,P=0.00;t social relation field=6.912,P=0.00;t environmental field=2.964,P=0.00). The systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and mean arterial pressure were lower than those in the control group (t systolic pressure=35.46,P=0.00;t diastolic pressure22.55,P=0.00;t mean arterial pressure=38.19,P=0.00). Depression and anxiety symptoms in the observation group significantly improved and the scores of SAS and SDS were significantly lower than those in the control group (tSAS=35.10, P=0.00;tSDS=21.7, P=0.00).Conclusion: Health education combined with life guidance can significantly improve the quality of life and psychological status of patients with hypertension.
