Objective: To investigate the effect of peritoneal dialysis on the dialysis effect and life quality of diabetic patients with uremia.Methods: 90 cases of patients with diabetes mellitus and uremia from August 2015 to August 2016 were enrolled and randomly divided into control group and study group, 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated by hemodialysis, and the study group was treated by peritoneal dialysis. The changes of BUN, SCr, 24h urine output, 24h urinary protein level and quality of life were observed before and 12 weeks after treatment in the two groups.Results: The levels of BUN, SCr and 24h urine protein in study group were lower than those in control group (P＜0.05), and the 24h urine output in study group was higher than that in control group (P＜0.05). The emotional function, physiological function, physical pain, social function and overall health score in study group were higher than those in control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion: Peritoneal dialysis has significant dialysis effect in diabetic patients with uremia and can improve the quality of life, which is suitable for clinical promotion.
